Add an existing Due Diligence Statement

If a Due Diligence Statement (DDS) has already been submitted outside of Interu for a particular Products, Items, Deliveries or Purchase Orders and you have the TRACES reference number and TRACES verification number at your disposal, you can add those details to the Delivery in Interu, as follows:

  1. Go to the Products, Items, Deliveries or Purchase Orders page from the main left-side menu

  2. Select the data you want to associate with an existing DDS

  3. In the details panel, click the EUDR DDS on the left-hand column

  4. Click + Add from the top-right corner

  5. Click + (Add new)

  6. Select Existing

  7. Fill in the Traces Reference number

  8. Fill in the Verification number

  9. Verify on TRACES: Turn on this toggle to check if such a reference exists on TRACES and extract the statement information to Interu. Requires valid operator credentials.

  10. A new browser tab will open with the DDS

You can then access that DDS and its details like you would for one you have submitted yourself via Interu (see Access the DDS Reference and Verification Numbers)

Due to technical limitations with the TRACES NT system, it is not possible to retrieve the other information contained in a DDS added in this way. If you have access to this DDS on TRACES NT, please ensure that the information you enter in the Interu Delivery for that DDS reflects the information contained in TRACES NT (especially Materials, Products, Weight and GPS coordinates for the point of origin Location of that Delivery).
