Our Document Translation feature allows you to seamlessly add or generate translations for your documents directly within the platform. You can either upload your own pre-translated files or use our AI tool to translate documents automatically.
Before getting started, please keep the following details in mind:
AI Supported Languages: English (GB), Dutch (NL), French (FR), and German (DE).
File Support: Currently, only PDF files are supported.
Translation Limits: You can add up to 2 translations per original document. There is no limit on the total number of documents you can translate across your account.
Visibility: Document translations are currently not shared. Receivers of your documents will need to generate their own translations.
No Mass Translation: AI translation must be requested individually per document.

Click the + (plus) button and select Upload.
Choose the file from your computer and select the corresponding language.
Once uploaded, the translation will appear as a clickable language chip under the Translations section.

In the Translations section, click the + (plus) button and select AI translate.

Notes for AI Translation:
Beta Testing: This feature is still in beta, hence, the quality of translations are subject to change.
Formatting: Due to how our proprietary AI processes text, some of the original document's visual formatting may be lost in the translated version.
Same-Language Warning: There are currently no guardrails preventing you from translating a document into its original language (e.g., translating an English PDF into English). Please double-check your target language before clicking Translate.
Failed Translations: If an AI translation fails or the quality is unsatisfactory, simply delete it and try again.
