Share a Delivery

Sharing a Delivery from Interu to an external recipient is done in three steps, as described below:

When you share a Delivery, you are also sharing all the upstream Deliveries, Items, Processes, Locations and Organisations records linked with this Delivery, as well as all the information that those records contain (Fields, Documents, Certificates, DDS).

It is therefore important to review all this information before sharing it externally. You can use the Redaction and Private Document Types features to limit what you are sharing to the strict necessary and keep certain pieces of information confidential.

Share the Delivery in Interu

The first step is for you, as an Interu user, to share the Delivery with the external recipient using their email address:

  1. Open the relevant Delivery record in Interu

  2. In the Delivery details panel, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner

  3. Click the Share button

  4. In the Share delivery pop-up window, enter the external recipient’s Email address

  5. Click the Share button.

You'll see a ✓ Delivery shared confirmation message appear (bottom left). An email is instantly sent to the external recipient (see next step: Open Shared Delivery Link)

Open Shared Delivery Link

Once the Delivery has been shared by the Interu user (see previous step: Share the Delivery in Interu), the external recipient should proceed as follows:

  1. Access the recipient's email service (Gmail in the example below)

  2. Open this first email received named "Delivery [Delivery ID] shared by [Organisation name]".

  3. In the email click the View Delivery link

This opens an Interu Access shared data page in a new browser window and prompts the recipient to enter a Verification code. A second email is automatically sent to the recipient at this point (see next step: Enter Verification Code).

Enter Verification Code

After having accessed the Access shared data page (as described in the previous step: Open Shared Delivery Link), the recipient should proceed as follows:

  1. Go back to the recipient's email service (Gmail in the example below)

  2. Open the second email automatically generated in the previous step and named "Verification code for [Delivery ID]".

  3. Copy the Verification code that is provided in the email

  4. Then paste the code into the Verification code field of the Access shared data page (opened in the previous step: Open Shared Delivery Link)

  5. Then click the Access button.

The recipient will then be redirected to the Interu page containing all the information about this Delivery.

The navigation on the shared Delivery Interu page is the same for the external recipient, as it would be for an actual Interu user, but the data that is displayed and accessible is limited to that Delivery only.
