Submit New DDS to TRACES

Written by Ruby Lin

Use cases: I want to:

  • Generate a new Due Diligence Statement (DDS) for specific products, items, deliveries, or purchase orders directly within my workspace.

  • Review comprehensive compliance data and referenced upstream statements before pushing data to the EU TRACES NT system.

  • Submit the finalised DDS directly to the EU TRACES NT system without leaving the Interu platform.

  • Track the submission status and instantly retrieve the official TRACES reference and verification numbers once the statement is processed and accepted.

Instead of manually re-entering data across multiple systems, Interu allows you to generate, review, and submit these statements directly from your tracked supply chain records.

Follow the guides below to generate your statement and submit it to TRACES NT.

1. Generate the Statement

You can create the statement by extracting the relevant supply chain data from a specific record in your workspace.

  • Generate a Due Diligence Statement: Learn how to generate a DDS directly from a Product, Item, Delivery, or Purchase Order. This guide explains how to define the activity type (Import, Export, or Domestic), set the relevant countries of activity/entry, define the validity period, and automatically or manually link upstream reference statements.

2. Review and Submit to TRACES NT

Once the statement is generated, it will be in a "Pending" state. You must review the compiled data before officially pushing it to the EU database.
