Once a supply chain is created, you can dive deeper into its specific network to analyse geographical flows, assess risks, and review consolidated documentation. The system offers multiple tabs to view this data from different perspectives.
Accessing Supply Chain Details
Open a Network: From your main Supply chains list, click directly on the name of the supply chain you wish to explore.
Navigate the Tabs: Across the top of the details page, you will see a navigation menu with several tabs: Graph, Map, Locations, Certificates, Documents, and Comments.
Graph Tab
This is the default view and provides a visual representation of your supply chain. By clicking the downward arrow next to Graph, you can toggle between two distinct visualisation styles:
Tree: Displays a traditional flowchart with directional arrows, showing the linear movement of materials from upstream sources to downstream destinations. You can hover over the icons within each node to quickly see if certificates or documents are attached or missing from the rulesets.
Heatmap: Displays the network as interactive concentric rings.
Interactions: Click once on a node for detailed insights, double-click to zoom in and focus on a specific tier, or click the centre to navigate downstream.
Display Modes: Use the right-hand panel to switch between Full view and Zoom view, or change the color-coding overlay to highlight Default statuses, Ruleset compliance, or potential Risk levels.
Click the ? sign to learn more about how Heatmap works.
Map Tab
The Map tab provides a geographical visualization of your supply chain. To help you accurately interpret the map, several legends and interactive controls are available:
Location GPS: Represented by a solid circle pin. This indicates that precise, verified GPS coordinates have been provided for this location.
Estimated: Represented by a hollow circle with a dashed border. This indicates that exact coordinates are missing, so the system has placed the pin based on the general country or region data provided.
Directional Arrows: Black lines with arrows connect the location pins to show the physical transit route and the downstream flow of materials.
Change Map Style: In the bottom left corner, hover over the layers icon to reveal a toggle menu. You can switch between the default Map view (standard cartography) and a Satellite view (photographic imagery).
Zoom In / Out: In the bottom right corner, click the + button to zoom in on a specific region, or the - button to zoom out for a wider global view.
Drag to move: Click and drag on the map to move the view of the map.
Reset Zoom: Use this button below + - to reset the map zoom.
Locations Tab
The Locations tab acts as a targeted directory, displaying only the facilities and plots that are actively part of the selected supply chain network.
When you open this tab, you can utilise several features to manage and review the data:
Location Count: The tab header itself displays a numerical badge providing a quick count of how many distinct sites make up this specific network.
Data Columns: The information is organised into a clear table, allowing you to review critical details at a glance. The columns include the location's Name, parent Organisation, facility Type(s), Country, custom Tags, the date it was Last risk assessed, and its overall Risk level.
Search and Filter Tools: Just above the table, you can use the Search... bar to quickly find a specific facility by name, or use the dropdown menu (defaulted to All) to filter the list.
Pagination Controls: If your supply chain contains a large number of locations, use the controls at the bottom of the screen to adjust the Records per page or page through the list using the navigation arrows.
Certificates Tab
The Certificates tab centralises all compliance data for your entire supply chain network, allowing you to review the certification status of multiple locations in one place without having to open each location's individual profile.
When you open this tab, you can manage and review the data using the following features:
Grouped by Location: The certificates are organised into distinct horizontal sections, categorised by the location they belong to. Next to the location name, you will see its country flag and location type tags.
Expand and Collapse: You can click the downward-facing arrow on the far right of any location's section to expand or collapse its list of certificates. If a location does not have any compliance documents attached, the section will simply display "No certificates available".
High-Level Overview: Each expanded section displays a table with key data points at a glance, including the certificate Number, Standard (e.g., FSC), Standard type (e.g., FM/COC), Issued on date, Valid from date, and Valid to date.
Detailed View: To dig deeper into a specific certification, click directly on the blue, hyperlinked certificate Number.
This will slide out a Certificate details panel on the right side of the screen.
Here, you can view the Main information, access the verification URL link if provided, and check the Record details to see who created the entry and when.
You can also click the Edit button in the top right corner of this panel if you need to update any of the certificate's information.
Documents Tab
The Documents tab aggregates all files, such as delivery notes, log removal passes, or maps, attached to the locations within your selected supply chain network. This allows you to review crucial paperwork for multiple facilities in one centralised view.
When exploring this tab, you can use the following features:
Grouped by Location: Just like certificates, the documents are organised into horizontal sections based on the specific facility they belong to. Next to the facility's name, you will see its country flag and facility type.
Expand and Collapse: Click the downward-facing arrow on the far right of any location's section to expand or collapse its document list. If a location does not have any files attached, the section will display "No documents available".
High-Level Overview: Each expanded section features a table displaying key details about the files, including the file Name, document Type, Private status, Issued on date, Valid from date, Valid to date, and any custom Tags.
Quick Download/View: If you hover your mouse over a document's name, view/download icons will appear, allowing you to quickly view or save the file to your device.
Detailed View: To view more information about a specific file, click directly on its blue, hyperlinked Name.
This will open a Document details side panel on the right.
The panel displays the file's Main information and the Record details (showing who created and updated the file, and when).
If you need to modify the document's metadata, you can click the Edit button located in the top right corner of this panel.
Comments Tab
This section allows your team to leave internal notes, updates, or questions specific to this supply chain network.
Edit Supply Chain Details
As your sourcing networks evolve, you may need to update your supply chain configurations. Editing allows you to rename the network, adjust its description, or add and remove specific locations from the map.
Access Edit Mode: While viewing the details page of the supply chain you wish to modify, click the black Edit button located in the top right corner. This will open the Edit supply chain workspace.
Modify Main Information: At the top of the screen, you can click into the Name or Description fields to update the general details of your network.
Remove a Location: To remove a facility from the network, hover your mouse over its specific node on the main Locations canvas. Click the x icon that appears in the top right corner of that node. The location will disappear from the visual map.
Add a New Location: To introduce a new facility into the supply chain, look to the Add locations panel on the right side of the screen.
Scroll through the list or use the search bar to find the desired facility.
Click the + (plus) icon next to its name.
The node will instantly appear on the canvas.
Save Changes: Once your updates are complete, click the black Save button in the bottom right corner of the screen to apply the modifications to your supply chain.
Archive, Delete, Send Supply Chain Details
You can manage the lifecycle of your supply chain networks by archiving old structures, deleting incorrect entries, or sharing your mapped network directly with partner organisations.
All of these actions are located in the same dropdown menu. While viewing a specific supply chain's details page, click the downward-facing arrow immediately to the right of the Edit button in the top right corner.
Archive a Supply Chain
Archiving hides the supply chain from your active list without permanently destroying the data, making it useful for networks you no longer actively use but want to keep for historical records.
Open the action menu and select Archive.
A Confirmation pop-up will appear asking, "Are you sure that you want to archive this record?".
Click the red Archive button to proceed.
Delete a Supply Chain
Deleting permanently removes the supply chain network from your system. Note: This only deletes the mapping; it does not delete the individual locations or organisations within it.
Open the action menu and select Delete.
A Delete confirmation pop-up will appear asking, "Are you sure that you want to delete this record?".
Click the red Delete button to permanently erase the network.
Send a Supply Chain
You can securely share your mapped supply chain, along with its attached locations, certificates, and documents, directly to a connected partner organisation within the platform.
Open the action menu and select Send.
A Send supply chain window will appear. Click the Connected organisations dropdown menu to select the partner you want to share the data with.
Review Documents (Optional): If you want to control exactly which files the partner sees, check the box for Review documents before sending. This gives you a list to exclude specific sensitive documents before finalising the transfer.
Depending on your choice in the previous step, click Send (or Next if you chose to review documents) to share the network.
Important Note: Sending a supply chain shares a snapshot of the current data. Any subsequent changes you make to the supply chain, certificates, or documents will not be automatically sent to the partner.
View Full Supply Chain
While individual, named supply chains let you focus on specific networks or product lines, the platform also offers a global view. The View full supply chain feature provides a comprehensive, macroscopic map of all connected entities and locations within your organisation's entire ecosystem.
Navigate to Supply Chains: From your main left-hand navigation menu, click on Supply chains.
Open Full View: Instead of clicking on an individual network name, click the white View full supply chain button located in the top right corner, right next to the + Add new button.
Review the Global Map: The system will load a comprehensive Graph displaying a massive tree of all interconnected upstream sources, intermediate facilities, and downstream destinations across your entire business.
The global view functions very similarly to the specific supply chain views, offering the same tools to analyse your macro network:
Across the top, you can switch between the Graph, Map, Locations, Certificates, and Documents tabs. These tabs will now display aggregated data for your entire company rather than just a segmented group.
Quick Add Location: If you notice a missing link while reviewing the full graph, you can add it immediately. Click the green + icon (Add location) on the right side of the canvas. This slides out the standard Add location panel so you can create a new facility without leaving the map.
Full Screen Mode: Because global supply chains can be incredibly complex, it is often helpful to expand your workspace. Click the Full screen icon (represented by arrows pointing outward) located on the right side of the screen to expand the graph across your entire browser window.
