If an organisation is part of a larger corporate structure, you can view a visual chart of its hierarchy within the platform. This feature automatically maps out parent-child relationships based on the data entered in the organisation's profile.
Why use this feature? While mapping out a corporate hierarchy is not mandatory, it is a highly useful tool for improving supply chain transparency. It helps you quickly understand complex ownership structures, identify relationships between the different entities you trade with, and assess risk or compliance across an entire corporate group at a glance.
To see the visualised chart, you must first ensure that the Parent organisation field has been populated in the downstream entity's main details. Once that relationship is established, follow these steps:
Select an Organisation: From your main Organisations list, click on the name of the entity you wish to examine to open its details panel.
Navigate to Group Organisations: In the left-hand vertical navigation bar, click the Group organisations icon, which resembles a hierarchical structure.
Review the Flowchart: The panel will display a top-down visual map of the corporate structure.
Upstream: If the organisation you are viewing has a parent entity, the parent will appear at the top of the chart with an arrow pointing down to the current organisation.
Downstream (Vice Versa): Conversely, if the organisation you are viewing acts as a parent to other entities, those subsidiary companies will branch out below it.
