Adding products allows you to define the finished or semi-finished goods that move through your supply chain. By accurately setting up a product profile, you ensure that trade items are measured correctly and linked to their appropriate raw botanical materials.
Manually Add Locations
Initiate New Entry: From your main Products list, click the black + Add new button located in the top right corner of the screen.
Define Main Information: An Add product side panel will slide out. Fill out the essential details:
Name: Enter the internal identifier or trade name for the good.
Main measurement type: Click the dropdown to select how this product is primarily quantified. Options include Volume, Mass, Area, Length, or Units.
HS code: Enter the standardised customs code, which are often required for EUDR due diligence.
Description: Add any relevant details.
Set Main Units of Measurement: Scroll down to the Main units of measurement section. The available default units will automatically correspond to the Main measurement type you selected in the previous step (e.g., if you selected Volume, the default unit will be Cubic meters).
Link Allowed Materials: This step is critical for mapping your finished goods back to their raw botanical origins.
Click the + (plus) icon next to Allowed materials.
An Add materials side panel will appear, listing your saved raw materials.
Click the + icon next to any species or material that is permitted to be used in this product (e.g., Eucalyptus grandis). A green Material added notification will confirm the selection.
Once you have added all necessary materials, click Done in the top right corner of the materials panel.
Add Additional Units & Conversion Rates (Optional): If this product is sometimes measured differently (for example, tracked by length instead of volume), you can add secondary units.
Click the + icon next to Additional units & conversion rates.
In the pop-up, select the new Category (e.g., Length) and indicate if it requires a conversion rate, then click the green Save button.
Save the Product: Once all the configuration is complete, click the black Save button in the top right corner of the main panel.
Bulk Add Products
If you need to create multiple product profiles that share similar characteristics—such as the same measurement type or raw material composition—you can use the Bulk Add wizard to create them all at once and save time.
Access the Bulk Add Tool: On the main Products page, click the downward-facing arrow located immediately to the right of the + Add new button. Select Bulk add products from the dropdown menu.
Set Values (Define Common Attributes): A three-step wizard will open. In the first step, define the default attributes that will be Fix and applied to all the new products you are about to create.
Check the box next to any field you want to standardise across the batch and enter the value.
Once your common attributes are set, click the black Next button in the bottom right corner.
Enter Product Details: You will be taken to a table view where the common attributes you just set are already populated in the columns.
Click into the Name column and type the identifier for your first product.
To add the next product, go to the bottom left of the screen and click the + Add 1 product(s) button to generate a new row. Adjust the number to add more rows at once.
Repeat this process until all your products are listed, then click the black Create X product(s) button in the bottom right corner.
Create Products: The system will begin processing the batch. A warning will state: "Please, do not exit this page until all products are created".
Wait for a green checkmark to appear next to every product in the list.
Once complete, click the Done button in the bottom right corner to return to your main products list, where your newly created items will now be visible.
